In the spirit of dada + the logic of pataphysics, Citizen Arts is excited to host on Saturday 1/18/25 a full-day workshop that moves participants through a landscape of physical training, étude work, and visual art-making. The day of collaborative training will culminate in a collective multidisciplinary arts installation.

Participants train with award-winning theatre-maker Daniel Irizarry (One-Eighth Theater and MIT), multidisciplinary artist Logan Gabrielle Schulman (Mirage Auto Depot), and Citizen Arts Co-Artistic Director Meg Araneo.

Embrace the chance to create by taking risks, falling down, and getting up again. Together we will smash old languages and build new vocabularies to express where we are here and now.

This is the first workshop in Citizen Arts's new Dissection Lab series: a collection of trainings exploring artistic forms in exciting and provocative ways. Come and take risks, explore new ways of working, and push the limits of your imagination.
