infecting imagination

INFECTING THE IMAGINATION is a workshop series grounded in the belief that artistic growth thrives in porous, collective spaces. Rather than protecting rigid borders around ideas, the series invites artists to work openly and responsively, treating influence not as something to guard against, but as something to actively welcome.

The series reclaims the language of “infection” from times and spaces where proximity is treated as danger. It inverts the isolation that comes from pathologizing the other by reframing infection as generative: transformation through contact with alternate imaginations, aesthetics, and ways of making. Through collaborative encounters, shared inquiry, and collective experimentation, participants are encouraged to let their work be shaped, challenged, and expanded by the artistic ecosystems around them.

Upcoming:

Somatic Scripts: a workshop for writers and non-writers and everyone in between.

Writing is a body, and bodies are writing. Somatic Scripts explores how text can be generated, felt, and understood through movement. Participants experiment with letting the body guide language, discovering new forms that emerge in the space between thought and action. A workshop for writers and non-writers and everyone in between.
